Changes to the schedule are at the discretion of the coaches.
The principal focus of the spring session will be running but athletes will also have the opportunity to explore hurdles & steeplechase if interested.
This is ideal for athletes who are new to track & field or athletes who simply want to cross train to improve their overall speed, strength and stamina. Programs are age/ability appropriate but integrated where possible to take advantage of group training dynamics.
Recreational athletes will be trained to achieve their specific athletic goals. They will not compete, however, coaches may offer a recreational athlete the opportunity to compete if they feel that an athlete is ready and that the experience will be beneficial.
Junior athletes will be registered as a member of MTA & senior athletes will be registered as a non-competitive member of AO for the 2020 outdoor season.
Program is 8 weeks in duration. Recreational athletes are free to choose how many & which workouts they participate in.
1 ) up to 4 weekly coached workouts
2 ) group training with other athletes,
3 ) ongoing progress review & feedback from our Head Coach,
4 ) MTA or AO non-competitive membership
